एवं बहुविधा यज्ञा वितता ब्रह्मणो मुखे | कर्मजान्विद्धि तान्सर्वानेवं ज्ञात्वा विमोक्ष्यसे
evaṃ bahuvidhā yajñā vitatā brahmaṇo mukhe . karmajānviddhi tānsarvānevaṃ jñātvā vimokṣyase
ഇങ്ങനെ പലതരം യജ്ഞങ്ങൾ വേദങ്ങളുടെ മുഖത്ത് വ്യാപിച്ചുകിടക്കുന്നു. അവയെല്ലാം കർമ്മത്തിൽ നിന്ന് ജനിച്ചവയാണെന്ന് നീ അറിയുക. ഇങ്ങനെ അറിഞ്ഞാൽ നീ മോചിതനാകും.
Thus, various kinds of sacrifices lie spread at the mouth of the Vedas. Know them all to be born of action. Knowing thus, you will become liberated.
'ബ്രഹ്മണോ മുഖേ' എന്നതിന് 'വേദങ്ങളിൽ' എന്നും അർത്ഥമുണ്ട്. പലതരം യജ്ഞങ്ങൾ ബ്രഹ്മത്തിന്റെ മുഖത്ത് വ്യാപിച്ചുകിടക്കുന്നു, അതായത് അവ വേദങ്ങളിൽ നിന്ന് അറിയപ്പെടുന്നു. ആത്മാവ് കർമ്മങ്ങൾക്ക് അതീതനായതുകൊണ്ട് അവയെല്ലാം കർമ്മത്തിൽ നിന്ന് ജനിച്ചവയാണെന്ന് നീ അറിയുക. ഈ കർമ്മങ്ങൾ എന്നെ ബാധിക്കുന്നില്ലെന്നും, അവ എന്റെ പ്രവൃത്തികളല്ലെന്നും, ഞാൻ കർമ്മരഹിതനാണെന്നും നീ തിരിച്ചറിഞ്ഞാൽ, ഈ ശരിയായ ജ്ഞാനത്താൽ സംസാരബന്ധനത്തിൽ നിന്ന് തീർച്ചയായും മോചിതനാകും.
The word Brahmanah has also been interpreted to mean In the Vedas.Various kinds of sacrifices are spread out at the mouth of Brahman? i.e.? they are known from the Vedas. Know that they are born of action? because the Self is beyond action. If you realise that these actions do not concern me? they are not my actin? and I am actionless? you will surely be liberated from the bondage of Samsara by this right knowledge. (Cf.IX.27XIII.15)
