उच्चैःश्रवसमश्वानां विद्धि माममृतोद्भवम् | ऐरावतं गजेन्द्राणां नराणां च नराधिपम्
uccaiḥśravasamaśvānāṃ viddhi māmamṛtodbhavam . airāvataṃ gajendrāṇāṃ narāṇāṃ ca narādhipam
കുതിരകളിൽ അമൃതത്തിൽ നിന്ന് ഉത്ഭവിച്ച ഉച്ചൈഃശ്രവസ്സാണ് ഞാൻ എന്ന് നീ അറിയുക. ഗജേന്ദ്രന്മാരിൽ ഐരാവതമാണ്; മനുഷ്യരിൽ നരാധിപനാണ് (രാജാവ്).
Among horses, know Me to be Uccaihsravas, born of nectar; Airavata among the lordly elephants; and among men, the Kind of men. [Uccaihsravas and Airavata are respectively the divine horse and elephant of Indra.]
