आहुस्त्वामृषयः सर्वे देवर्षिर्नारदस्तथा | असितो देवलो व्यासः स्वयं चैव ब्रवीषि मे
āhustvāmṛṣayaḥ sarve devarṣirnāradastathā . asito devalo vyāsaḥ svayaṃ caiva bravīṣi me
എല്ലാ ഋഷിമാരും, ദേവർഷി നാരദനും, അസിതനും, ദേവലനും, വ്യാസനും അങ്ങയെ അങ്ങനെയാണ് വിശേഷിപ്പിക്കുന്നത്. അങ്ങ് തന്നെയും എന്നോട് ഇത് പറയുന്നു.
-10.13 Arjuna said You are the supreme Brahman, the supreme Light, the supreme Sanctifier. All the sages as also the divine sage Narada, Asita, Devala and Vyasa [Although Narada and the other sages are already mentioned by the words 'all the sages', still they are named separately because of their eminence. Asita is the father of Devala.] call You the eternal divine Person, the Primal God, the Birthless, the Omnipresent; and You Yourself verily tell me (so).
അർജ്ജുനൻ ഭഗവാനോട് പറയുന്നു, എല്ലാ മഹർഷിമാരും, ദേവന്മാരിൽ ശ്രേഷ്ഠനായ നാരദ മഹർഷിയും, അസിതൻ, ദേവലൻ, വ്യാസൻ തുടങ്ങിയവരും അങ്ങയെ പരമപുരുഷനായി വാഴ്ത്തുന്നു. അങ്ങ് തന്നെയും ഈ സത്യം എന്നോട് വെളിപ്പെടുത്തുന്നുണ്ടല്ലോ.
