यद्यदाचरति श्रेष्ठस्तत्तदेवेतरो जनः | स यत्प्रमाणं कुरुते लोकस्तदनुवर्तते ||२१||
yad yad ācharati śhreṣhṭhas tat tad evetaro janaḥ sa yat pramāṇaṁ kurute lokas tad anuvartate
Was auch immer ein großer Mensch (śreṣṭhaḥ) tut, das tun auch die gewöhnlichen Menschen. Welchen Maßstab er setzt, dem folgt die ganze Welt.
Whatever action a great person performs, common people follow. Whatever standards they set, the entire world pursues.
