यस्त्विन्द्रियाणि मनसा नियम्यारभतेऽर्जुन | कर्मेन्द्रियैः कर्मयोगमसक्तः स विशिष्यते
yastvindriyāṇi manasā niyamyārabhate.arjuna . karmendriyaiḥ karmayogamasaktaḥ sa viśiṣyate
Wer aber, o Arjuna, die Sinne mit dem Geist beherrscht und mit den Handlungsorganen den Karma-Yoga beginnt, ohne Anhaftung – der ist überlegen.
But, O Arjuna, one who engages in Karma-yoga with the organs of action, controlling the organs with the mind and becoming unattached-that one excels.
Wenn jemand Handlungen mit seinen Handlungsorganen (d.h. Händen, Füßen, Sprechorgan usw.) ausführt, dabei die Erkenntnisorgane mit dem Geist kontrolliert und ohne Erwartung der Früchte der Handlungen und ohne Egoismus handelt, so ist er sicherlich würdiger als der andere, der ein Heuchler oder ein Mensch falschen Verhaltens ist. (Vgl. II.64, 68; IV.21). Die fünf Erkenntnisorgane sind die Augen, die Ohren, die Nase, die Haut und der Geschmackssinn (Zunge).
If anyone performs actions with his organs of action (viz.? hands? feet? organ of speech? etc.) controlling the organs of knowledge by the mind? and without expectation of the fruits of the actions and without egoism? he is certainly more worthy than the other who is a hypocrite or a man of false conduct. (Cf.II.64?68IV.21).The five organs of knowledge are the eyes? the ears? the nose? the skin and the sense of taste (tongue).
