वृष्णीनां वासुदेवोऽस्मि पाण्डवानां धनञ्जयः | मुनीनामप्यहं व्यासः कवीनामुशना कविः
vṛṣṇīnāṃ vāsudevo.asmi pāṇḍavānāṃ dhanañjayaḥ . munīnāmapyahaṃ vyāsaḥ kavīnāmuśanā kaviḥ
వృష్ణులలో నేను వాసుదేవుడను; పాండవులలో ధనంజయుడను (అర్జునుడను). మునులలో నేను వ్యాసుడను; కవులలో ఉశనుడను (శుక్రాచార్యుడను).
Of the vrsnis [The clan to which Sri krsna belonged, known otherwise as the Yadavas.] I am Vasudeva; of the Pandavas, Dhananjaya (Arjuna). And of the wise, I am Vyasa; of the omniscient, the omniscient Usanas.
వృష్ణులు యాదవులు లేదా యదు వంశీయులు, వారిలో నేను ప్రముఖుడను. ఉశనుడు అంటే శుక్రాచార్యుడు, ఆయన రాక్షసుల గురువు.
Vrishnis are Yadavas or the descendants of Yadu. I am the foremost among them.Usanas is Sukracharya? the preceptor of the demons.
