आयुधानामहं वज्रं धेनूनामस्मि कामधुक् | प्रजनश्चास्मि कन्दर्पः सर्पाणामस्मि वासुकिः
āyudhānāmahaṃ vajraṃ dhenūnāmasmi kāmadhuk . prajanaścāsmi kandarpaḥ sarpāṇāmasmi vāsukiḥ
在武器中，我是金剛杵；在牛群中，我是卡瑪德努 (滿願牛)。我是生殖之神坎達爾帕，在蛇類中，我是婆蘇吉。
Among weapons I am the thunderbolt; among cows I am kamadhenu. I am Kandarpa, the Progenitor, and among serpents I am Vasuki.
金剛杵 (Vajram) 是由達迪奇 (Dadhichi) 仙人骨骼製成的武器，只有完成百次祭祀的因陀羅 (Indra) 才能使用。卡瑪德努 (Kamadhuk) 是大仙人婆私濕塔 (Vasishtha) 的神牛，能滿足一切願望，同樣誕生於乳海。坎達爾帕 (Kandarpa) 即愛神 (Cupid)。婆蘇吉 (Vasuki) 是無冠或普通蛇類之主。薩爾帕 (Sarpa) 指單頭蛇，婆蘇吉呈黃色。那伽 (Nagas) 指多頭蛇，阿南塔 (Ananta) 呈火紅色。斯里達拉 (Sridhara) 認為薩爾帕有毒，那伽無毒。斯里·羅摩奴闍 (Sri Ramanuja) 則說薩爾帕只有一個頭，那伽有多個頭。
