विस्तरेणात्मनो योगं विभूतिं च जनार्दन | भूयः कथय तृप्तिर्हि शृण्वतो नास्ति मेऽमृतम्
vistareṇātmano yogaṃ vibhūtiṃ ca janārdana . bhūyaḥ kathaya tṛptirhi śṛṇvato nāsti me.amṛtam
賈納爾達那(Janardana)啊，請您再次詳細講述您的「瑜伽」(Yoga)和「神性顯現」(Vibhūti)。因為聆聽您如甘露般的話語，我永不滿足。
O Janardana, narrate to me again [In addition to what has been said in the seventh and ninth chapters.] Your onw yoga and (divine) manifestations elaborately. For, while hearing (Your) nectar-like (words), there is no satiety in me.
主被稱為「賈納爾達那」(Janardana)，因為所有人都向祂祈求世俗的成功、繁榮以及解脫。阿爾諸那(Arjuna)也祈求主解釋祂的「瑜伽」(Yoga)力量和榮耀，以求得他的解脫。阿爾諸那對奎師那(Krishna)說：「請您詳細告訴我您神秘的力量（「瑜伽」(Yoga)）和主權（「自在」(Aisvarya)），以及各種應被冥想的事物。請您再次告訴我，儘管您在第七章和第九章中已簡潔地描述過，因為聆聽您如甘露般的言語或對話，我永不滿足。無論我聽多少，我都不會滿足，這對我來說確實是不朽的甘露。」
The Lord is called Janardana because all pray to Him for worldly success? prosperity and also salvation. Arjuna also prays to the Lord to explain His Yogic power and glory? for his salvation.Arjuna says to Lord Krishna Tell me in detail of Thy mysterious power (Yoga) and sovereignty (Aisvarya) and the various things to be meditated upon. Tell me again though You have described earlier in the seventh and the ninth chapters succinctly for there is no satiety in hearing Thy ambrosial speech or nectarlike conversation. However much of it I hear? I am not satisfied surely it is nectar of immortality for me.
