पिताहमस्य जगतो माता धाता पितामहः | वेद्यं पवित्रमोंकार ऋक्साम यजुरेव च
pitāhamasya jagato mātā dhātā pitāmahaḥ . vedyaṃ pavitramoṃkāra ṛksāma yajureva ca
اس دنیا کا باپ، ماں، انتظام کرنے والا، اور دادا میں ہی ہوں؛ میں ہی جاننے کے قابل، پاک کرنے والا، `اومکار` ہوں، اور `رِگ`، `سام` اور `یجُر` بھی میں ہی ہوں۔
Of this world I am the father, mother, ordainer, (and the), grand-father; I am the knowable, the sancitifier, the syllable Om as also Rk, Sama and Yajus.
`دھاتا` سے مراد اعمال کے پھلوں کا انتظام کرنے والا یا سہارا دینے والا ہے۔ `ایشور` یا `سگُن برہمن` باپ ہے۔ `مول پرکرتی` یا بنیادی فطرت ماں ہے۔ خالص `سچیدانند پرم برہمن` (وجود، علم، مسرت مطلق) دادا ہے۔ `ویدیم` وہ واحد چیز ہے جسے جانا جانا چاہیے۔ یہ پرماتما ہے۔ `پوترم` پاک کرنے والا۔ میں مقدس دریا گنگا میں غسل اور `گایتری جاپ` کی شکل میں ہوں جو خواہشمندوں کو ظاہری اور باطنی طور پر پاک کرتا ہے۔ `چ` کا مطلب 'اور' ہے۔ اس میں `اتھروَن وید` بھی شامل ہے۔
