सततं कीर्तयन्तो मां यतन्तश्च दृढव्रताः | नमस्यन्तश्च मां भक्त्या नित्ययुक्ता उपासते
satataṃ kīrtayanto māṃ yatantaśca dṛḍhavratāḥ . namasyantaśca māṃ bhaktyā nityayuktā upāsate
وہ مضبوط عہد والے لوگ ہمیشہ میری حمد و ثنا کرتے ہوئے اور کوشش کرتے ہوئے، عقیدت کے ساتھ مجھے سجدہ کرتے ہیں اور ہمیشہ مجھ میں پیوست رہ کر میری عبادت کرتے ہیں۔
Always glorifying Me and striving, the men of firm vows worship Me by paying obeisance to Me and being ever endowed with devotion.
یہ عظیم روحیں میری شان بیان کرتی ہیں۔ وہ `پرنوا` (`اوم`) کا `جاپ` (تکرار) کرتے ہیں۔ وہ `اُپنیشدوں` کا مطالعہ اور تلاوت کرتے ہیں۔ وہ اپنے روحانی استاد سے `شروتیوں` (ویدوں) کو سنتے ہیں، بے صفت مطلق (`نرگُن برہمن`) پر غور و فکر اور مراقبہ کرتے ہیں۔ وہ صبر، رحم، کائناتی محبت، رواداری، برداشت، سچائی، پاکیزگی وغیرہ جیسی ساتوِک خوبیوں کو پروان چڑھاتے ہیں۔ وہ حواس کو قابو کرتے ہیں اور ذہن کو مستحکم کرتے ہیں۔ وہ عدم تشدد، سچائی اور فکر، کلام اور عمل میں پاکیزگی کے اپنے عہدوں میں پختہ ہیں۔ وہ مجھ میں اپنے دل میں چھپے ہوئے اندرونی `آتما` کے طور پر عظیم ایمان اور عقیدت کے ساتھ میری عبادت کرتے ہیں۔ چونکہ ایک نو آموز خدا کو روبرو نہیں دیکھ سکتا، اسے پہلے اپنے `گرو` (روحانی استاد) کی عبادت کرنی ہوگی اور اسے خدا یا `برہمن` ہی سمجھنا ہوگا۔
These great souls sing My glory. They do Japa (repetition) of Pranava (Om). They study and recite the Upanishads. They hear the Srutis (the Vedas) from their spiritual preceptor? reflect and meditate on the attributeless Absolute (Nirguna Brahman). They cultivate the Sattvic virtues such as patience? mercy? cosmic love? tolerance? forbearance? truthfulness? purity? etc. They control the senses and steady the mind. They are firm in their vows of nonviolence? truthfulness and purity in thought? word and deed. They worship Me with great faith and devotion as the inner Self hidden in their heart. As a neophyte cannot see God face to face? he will have to worship his Guru (spiritual preceptor) firt and regard him as God or Brahman Himself.
