भवाप्ययौ हि भूतानां श्रुतौ विस्तरशो मया | त्वत्तः कमलपत्राक्ष माहात्म्यमपि चाव्ययम्
bhavāpyayau hi bhūtānāṃ śrutau vistaraśo mayā . tvattaḥ kamalapatrākṣa māhātmyamapi cāvyayam
ఓ కమలపత్రాక్షా, భూతముల ఉత్పత్తి, వినాశనములను నీ నుండి నేను విస్తరముగా విన్నాను. మరియు నీ అవ్యయమైన మాహాత్మ్యమును కూడా విన్నాను.
O you with eyes like lotus leaves, the origin and dissolution of beings have been heard by me in detail from You. ['From You have been heard the origin and dissolution of beings in You.'] And (Your) undecaying glory, too, (has been heard).
కమలపత్రాక్ష అంటే కమలదళముల వంటి కన్నులు కలవాడు. కమలపత్రము ఆత్మజ్ఞానాన్ని కూడా సూచిస్తుంది. ఆత్మజ్ఞానం ద్వారా పొందబడేవాడు కమలపత్రాక్ష. అర్జునుడు భగవానుని నుండి సృష్టి స్థితి లయల గురించి, ఆయన అనంతమైన మహిమల గురించి వివరంగా తెలుసుకున్నానని చెబుతున్నాడు.
Kamalapatraksha Lotuseyed or having eyes like lotuspetals. Kamalapatra also means knowledge of the Self. He who can be obtained by knowledge of the Self is Kamalapatraksha.
