पुण्यो गन्धः पृथिव्यां च तेजश्चास्मि विभावसौ | जीवनं सर्वभूतेषु तपश्चास्मि तपस्विषु
puṇyo gandhaḥ pṛthivyāṃ ca tejaścāsmi vibhāvasau . jīvanaṃ sarvabhūteṣu tapaścāsmi tapasviṣu
நான் பூமியில் இனிமையான நறுமணமாகவும் இருக்கிறேன்; நெருப்பில் ஒளியாகவும், அனைத்து உயிரினங்களிலும் உயிராகவும் இருக்கிறேன்; தபஸ்விகளில் தவமாகவும் இருக்கிறேன்.
I am also the sweet fragrance in the earth; I am the brillinace in the fire, and the life in all beings; and I am the austerity of the ascetics.
என்னில் நறுமணமாக பூமி நெய்யப்பட்டுள்ளது; என்னில் ஒளியாக நெருப்பு நெய்யப்பட்டுள்ளது; என்னில் உயிராக அனைத்து உயிரினங்களும் நெய்யப்பட்டுள்ளன; என்னில் தவமாக அனைத்து தபஸ்விகளும் நெய்யப்பட்டுள்ளனர். நான் எல்லாவற்றிற்கும் ஆதாரம் (அதிஷ்டானம் அல்லது ஆஸ்ரயம்). நான் தபஸ்விகளுக்கு மனதையும் புலன்களையும் கட்டுப்படுத்த உதவும் சக்தி. கிருஷ்ணர் கூறுகிறார், நான் இனிமையான நறுமணம். அர்ஜுனன் அவரிடம், "அப்படியானால், விரும்பத்தகாத நறுமணம் யார்?" என்று கேட்டிருந்தால், அவர், "அதுவும் நானே" என்று பதிலளித்திருப்பார்.
In Me as odour in the earth woven in Me as brilliance is the fire woven in Me as life all beings are woven in Me as austerity all ascetics are woven. I am the support (Adhishthanam or Asraya) for everything.I am the power or Sakti which helps the ascetics to control the mind and the senses.Krishna says? I am the agreeable odour. If Arjuna had asked Him? Then who is the disagreeable odour? He would have replied? It is also I.
