किरीटिनं गदिनं चक्रहस्तं इच्छामि त्वां द्रष्टुमहं तथैव | तेनैव रूपेण चतुर्भुजेन सहस्रबाहो भव विश्वमूर्ते

கிரீடமணிந்தவராகவும், கதாயுதம் ஏந்தியவராகவும், சக்கரம் கையில் கொண்டவராகவும், முன்னிருந்தது போலவே உம்மை நான் காண விரும்புகிறேன். ஓ ஆயிரம் கைகளுடையவரே, ஓ விஸ்வமூர்த்தியே, அந்த நான்கு கரங்கள் கொண்ட ரூபத்திலேயே தோன்றுங்கள்.
I want to see You just as before, wearing a crown, wielding a mace, and holding a disc in hand. O You with thousand arms, O You of Cosmic form, appear with that very form with four hands.
அர்ஜுனன் கூறுகிறான்: "ஓ பகவானே, இந்த விஸ்வரூபத்தில் நான் எங்கு திரும்புவது, யாரை அழைப்பது என்று எனக்குத் தெரியவில்லை. நான் பயந்துவிட்டேன். சங்கு, சக்கரம், கதை, தாமரை ஏந்திய உம்மை நான் காண ஏங்குகிறேன். உமது விஸ்வரூபத்தை மறைத்து, முன்பு இருந்த அதே நான்கு கரங்கள் கொண்ட ரூபத்தை தரித்தருளும்." ஆன்மீக சாதகர்கள் தங்கள் சாதனையைத் தொடங்கியவுடன் உடனடியாக மிக உயர்ந்த ஆன்மீக அனுபவங்களைப் பெற பெரும்பாலும் அவசரப்படுகிறார்கள். இது தவறு. அவர்களுக்குள் பாயும் பெரும் சக்தியை அவர்களால் தாங்க முடியாது. பொறுமையாக இருங்கள். 'ஓ ஆயிரம் கைகளுடையவரே' என்பது விஸ்வரூபத்தைக் குறிக்கிறது.
Arjuna says O Lord in the Cosmic Form I do not know where to turn and to whom to address myself. I am frightened. I am longing to see Thee with conch? discus? mace and lotus. Withdraw Thy Cosmic Form. Assume that same fourarmed form as before.Spiritual aspirants are ofen impatient to have the highest spiritual experiences immediately they begin their Sadhana. This is wrong. They will not be able to withstand the great power that will,surge into them. Be patientO thousandarmed refers to the Cosmic Form.
