अज्ञश्चाश्रद्दधानश्च संशयात्मा विनश्यति | नायं लोकोऽस्ति न परो न सुखं संशयात्मनः
ajñaścāśraddadhānaśca saṃśayātmā vinaśyati . nāyaṃ loko.asti na paro na sukhaṃ saṃśayātmanaḥ
ಅಜ್ಞಾನಿ, ಶ್ರದ್ಧೆಯಿಲ್ಲದವನು ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಶಯಗ್ರಸ್ತ ಮನಸ್ಸಿನವನು ನಾಶವಾಗುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಸಂಶಯಾತ್ಮನಿಗೆ ಈ ಲೋಕವೂ ಇಲ್ಲ, ಪರಲೋಕವೂ ಇಲ್ಲ, ಸುಖವೂ ಇಲ್ಲ.
One who is ignorant and faithless, and has a doubting mind perishes. Neither this world nor the next nor happiness exists for one who has a doubting mind.
ಆತ್ಮಜ್ಞಾನವಿಲ್ಲದ ಅಜ್ಞಾನಿ, ತನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ, ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮತ್ತು ಗುರುಗಳ ಬೋಧನೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯಿಲ್ಲದವನು, ಸಂಶಯಗ್ರಸ್ತ ಮನಸ್ಸಿನವನು ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗಿಂತಲೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಪಾಪಿ. ಅವನ ಸ್ಥಿತಿ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಶೋಚನೀಯ. ಅವನು ಪರಲೋಕದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಸಂಶಯಗಳಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿರುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಅವನು ಈ ಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಸಂತೋಷಪಡುವುದಿಲ್ಲ, ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಅವನು ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಸಂಶಯಶೀಲನಾಗಿರುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಅವನಿಗೆ ಸುಖವೇ ಇರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.
The ignorant one who has no knowledge of the Self. The man without faith one who has no faith in his own self? in the scriptures and the teachings of his Guru.A man of doubting mind is the most sinful of all. His condition is very deplorable. He is full of doubts as regards the next world. He does not rejoice in this world also? as he is very suspicious. He has no happiness.
