यदा यदा हि धर्मस्य ग्लानिर्भवति भारत | अभ्युत्थानमधर्मस्य तदात्मानं सृजाम्यहम् ||७||
yadā yadā hi dharmasya glānir bhavati bhārata abhyutthānam adharmasya tadātmānaṁ sṛjāmy aham
ಓ ಭಾರತ (ಅರ್ಜುನ), ಯಾವಾಗ ಯಾವಾಗ ಧರ್ಮಕ್ಕೆ ಕುಂದುಂಟಾಗುತ್ತದೆಯೋ, ಮತ್ತು ಅಧರ್ಮವು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗುತ್ತದೆಯೋ, ಆಗ ನಾನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇನೆ (ಅವತರಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ).
Whenever there is a decline in righteousness and a rise in unrighteousness, O Arjuna, at that time I manifest Myself.

'ಯದಾ ಯದಾ' (ಯಾವಾಗ ಯಾವಾಗ) ಎಂಬ ಪದವು ಇದು ಶಾಶ್ವತ ಭರವಸೆಯೇ ಹೊರತು ಒಮ್ಮೆ ಮಾತ್ರ ಸಂಭವಿಸುವ ಘಟನೆಯಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಒತ್ತಿಹೇಳುತ್ತದೆ.
