रजसि प्रलयं गत्वा कर्मसङ्गिषु जायते | तथा प्रलीनस्तमसि मूढयोनिषु जायते
rajasi pralayaṃ gatvā karmasaṅgiṣu jāyate . tathā pralīnastamasi mūḍhayoniṣu jāyate
ರಜೋಗುಣವು ಪ್ರಬಲವಾಗಿರುವಾಗ ಮರಣವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದವನು ಕರ್ಮಸಕ್ತರ ನಡುವೆ ಹುಟ್ಟುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಹಾಗೆಯೇ, ತಮೋಗುಣವು ಪ್ರಬಲವಾಗಿರುವಾಗ ಮರಣ ಹೊಂದಿದವನು ಮೂಢ ಯೋನಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹುಟ್ಟುತ್ತಾನೆ.
When one dies while rajas predominates, he is born among people attached to activity. Similarly, when one dies while tamas predominates, he takes birth among the stupid species.
ರಜಸ್ಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಮರಣವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದರೆ, ರಜಸ್ಸು ಪ್ರಬಲವಾಗಿರುವಾಗ ಅವನು ಮರಣ ಹೊಂದಿದರೆ, ಅವನು ಕರ್ಮಕ್ಕೆ ಅಂಟಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ಜನರ ನಡುವೆ ಹುಟ್ಟುತ್ತಾನೆ. ತಮಸ್ಸು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಬಲವಾಗಿರುವಾಗ ಅವನು ಮರಣ ಹೊಂದಿದರೆ, ಅವನು ದನಗಳು, ಪಕ್ಷಿಗಳು, ಮೃಗಗಳು ಅಥವಾ ಕೀಟಗಳಂತಹ ಅಜ್ಞಾನಿ ಪ್ರಭೇದಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಜನ್ಮ ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಅವನು ಮಂದಬುದ್ಧಿಯವರಲ್ಲಿ ಅಥವಾ ಮಾನವರ ಕೆಳದರ್ಜೆಯವರಲ್ಲಿ ಜನ್ಮ ಪಡೆಯಬಹುದು. ಇದು ಕೆಲವು ಜನರ ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯ.
Meeting with death in Rajas If he dies when Rajas is predominant in him? he is born among men who are attached to action. If he dies when Tamas is fully predominant in him? he takes birth in ignorant species such as cattle? birds? beasts or insects.He may take his birth amongst the dull and the stupid or the lowest grades of human beings. He need not take the body of an animal. This is the view of some persons.
