इति ते ज्ञानमाख्यातं गुह्याद्गुह्यतरं मया | विमृश्यैतदशेषेण यथेच्छसि तथा कुरु ||६३||
iti te jñānam ākhyātaṁ guhyād guhyataraṁ mayā vimṛiśhyaitad aśheṣheṇa yathechchhasi tathā kuru
Ainsi, Je t'ai exposé cette connaissance, plus secrète que tous les secrets. Réfléchis-y pleinement, puis agis comme tu le souhaites.
Thus I have explained to you this knowledge that is more secret than all secrets. Reflect on this fully, and then do as you wish.
De manière remarquable, après 18 chapitres d'enseignement, Krishna ne commande pas — Il dit : « agis comme tu le souhaites » (yathecchasi tathā kuru). Remarkably, after 18 chapters of teaching, Krishna does not command — He says "do as you wish" (yathechchhasi tathā kuru). This is the Gita's deepest respect for free will. The divine teaches, reveals, guides — but never compels. The choice always remains with the individual.
