किरीटिनं गदिनं चक्रहस्तं इच्छामि त्वां द्रष्टुमहं तथैव | तेनैव रूपेण चतुर्भुजेन सहस्रबाहो भव विश्वमूर्ते

Ich möchte Dich genau wie zuvor sehen, mit einer Krone geschmückt, eine Keule schwingend und eine Scheibe in der Hand haltend. O Du mit tausend Armen, o Du von kosmischer Form, erscheine in eben jener vierarmigen Gestalt.
I want to see You just as before, wearing a crown, wielding a mace, and holding a disc in hand. O You with thousand arms, O You of Cosmic form, appear with that very form with four hands.
Arjuna sagt: „O Herr, in der kosmischen Form weiß ich nicht, wohin ich mich wenden und wen ich ansprechen soll. Ich bin verängstigt. Ich sehne mich danach, Dich mit Muschelhorn, Diskus, Keule und Lotus zu sehen. Ziehe Deine kosmische Form zurück. Nimm dieselbe vierarmige Form wie zuvor an.“ Spirituelle Aspiranten sind oft ungeduldig, die höchsten spirituellen Erfahrungen sofort zu machen, sobald sie ihr Sadhana beginnen. Das ist falsch. Sie werden der großen Kraft, die in sie strömen wird, nicht standhalten können. Sei geduldig. „O Tausendarmiger“ bezieht sich auf die kosmische Form.
Arjuna says O Lord in the Cosmic Form I do not know where to turn and to whom to address myself. I am frightened. I am longing to see Thee with conch? discus? mace and lotus. Withdraw Thy Cosmic Form. Assume that same fourarmed form as before.Spiritual aspirants are ofen impatient to have the highest spiritual experiences immediately they begin their Sadhana. This is wrong. They will not be able to withstand the great power that will,surge into them. Be patientO thousandarmed refers to the Cosmic Form.
