你只拥有行动的权利,绝无权享有行动的果报。不要认为自己是结果的肇因,也绝不要执着于不行动。
You have a right to perform your duty, but never to the fruits of your actions. Do not consider yourself the cause of the results, and never be attached to inaction.

This is arguably the most famous verse of the Gita. Four instructions: (1) your right is to work only; (2) never to the results; (3) don't think you cause results; (4) don't use this as an excuse for inaction. Modern psychology calls this "process focus" vs "outcome focus."
