जरामरणमोक्षाय मामाश्रित्य यतन्ति ये | ते ब्रह्म तद्विदुः कृत्स्नमध्यात्मं कर्म चाखिलम्
jarāmaraṇamokṣāya māmāśritya yatanti ye . te brahma tadviduḥ kṛtsnamadhyātmaṃ karma cākhilam
جو لوگ بڑھاپے اور موت سے نجات پانے کے لیے مجھ میں پناہ لے کر کوشش کرتے ہیں، وہ اس برہم (Brahman) کو، آتما (Atman) کے بارے میں سب کچھ، اور تمام کرم (Karma) کو مکمل طور پر جانتے ہیں۔
Those who strive by resorting to Me for becoming free from old age and death, they know that Brahman, everything about the individual Self, and all about actions. [They know Brahman as being all the individual entities and all actions. This verse prescribes meditation on the alified Brahman for aspirants of the middle class. Verses beginning with the 14the speak about the reaization of the unalified Brahman by aspirants of the highest class.]
وہ آتما (Self) کے مکمل علم یا برہم (Brahman) کے کامل علم کو حاصل کرتے ہیں۔ وہ 'بھوما' یعنی اعلیٰ ترین یا غیر مشروط حالت کو پاتے ہیں۔ ان کے تمام شکوک و شبہات مکمل طور پر ختم ہو جاتے ہیں۔ وہ اب پوری طرح سے جان لیتے ہیں کہ 'سب کچھ واسودیو ہے'۔ درحقیقت، سب کچھ برہم (Brahman) ہے۔ تنوع جیسی کوئی چیز نہیں ہے۔ وہ یہاں دوبارہ پیدا نہیں ہوتے اور اس طرح بڑھاپے اور موت پر فتح حاصل کر لیتے ہیں۔ وہ یہیں اور ابھی آزاد ہو جاتے ہیں۔
They attain to the full knowledge of the Self or perfect knowledge of Brahman. They attain to the Bhuma or the Highest or the Unconditioned. All their doubts are totally destroyed. They fully realise now? All is Vaasudeva. All indeed is Brahman. There is no such thing as diversity.They are not rorn here and have thus conered old age and death. They are liberated here and now.
