बहूनां जन्मनामन्ते ज्ञानवान्मां प्रपद्यते | वासुदेवः सर्वमिति स महात्मा सुदुर्लभः
bahūnāṃ janmanāmante jñānavānmāṃ prapadyate . vāsudevaḥ sarvamiti sa mahātmā sudurlabhaḥ
کئی جنموں کے بعد، گیانی (عالم) مجھے حاصل کرتا ہے، یہ جانتے ہوئے کہ واسودیو ہی سب کچھ ہے۔ ایسا مہا آتما (عظیم روح) بہت نایاب ہے۔
At the end of many births the man of Knowledge attains Me, (realizing) that Vasudeva is all. Such a high-souled one is very rare.
واسودیو بھگوان کرشن کا ایک نام ہے کیونکہ وہ واسودیو کے بیٹے ہیں۔ وہ ہر جگہ موجود برہمن ہیں۔ سادھک کئی جنموں میں یوگ کی مشقوں، بے لوث خدمت، بھکتی اور مسلسل مراقبہ کے ذریعے بتدریج ارتقا کرتا ہے اور بالآخر اندرونی آتما کو حاصل کرتا ہے۔ وہ یہ سمجھتا ہے کہ سب کچھ واسودیو ہے۔ ایسے عظیم روح کو تلاش کرنا بہت مشکل ہے، جس نے کمال حاصل کر لیا ہو۔ کوئی بھی اس کے برابر نہیں ہے۔ یہی وجہ ہے کہ بھگوان نے فرمایا ہے کہ ہزاروں میں سے کوئی ایک ہی کمال کے لیے کوشش کرتا ہے، اور ان کامیاب کوشش کرنے والوں میں سے بھی، کوئی ایک ہی مجھے اصل میں جانتا ہے۔
Vaasudeva is a name of Lord Krishna as He is the son of Vasudeva. He is the allpervading Brahman.The aspirant gradually evolves through Yogic practices? selfless service? devotion and constant meditation in many births and ultimately attains the inner Self. He realises that all is Vaasudeva. It is very difficult to find such a great soul? who has attained to perfection. No one is eal to him. That is the reason why the Lord has said? One in a thousand perchance strives for perfection even among those successful strivers? only one perchance knows Me in essence. (Cf.VII.3.)
