यस्त्विन्द्रियाणि मनसा नियम्यारभतेऽर्जुन | कर्मेन्द्रियैः कर्मयोगमसक्तः स विशिष्यते
yastvindriyāṇi manasā niyamyārabhate.arjuna . karmendriyaiḥ karmayogamasaktaḥ sa viśiṣyate
யஸ்த்விந்த்ரியாணி மனஸா நியாம்யாரபதேர்ஜுன | கர்ம இந்த்ரியைஸ் கர்மயோகமஸக்தஸ் ஸ விசிஷ்யதே ஆனால், அர்ஜுனா, எவன் இந்திரியங்களை மனதால் கட்டுப்படுத்தி, கர்ம இந்திரியங்களால் கர்ம யோகத்தை பற்றற்றுச் செய்கிறானோ, அவனே சிறந்தவன்.
But, O Arjuna, one who engages in Karma-yoga with the organs of action, controlling the organs with the mind and becoming unattached-that one excels.
எவன் தனது செயல் உறுப்புகளால் (அதாவது, கைகள், கால்கள், பேச்சு உறுப்பு போன்றவை) செயல்களைச் செய்கிறானோ, ஞான இந்திரியங்களை மனதால் கட்டுப்படுத்தி, செயல்களின் பலனை எதிர்பாராமல், அகங்காரம் இல்லாமல் இருக்கிறானோ, அவன் நிச்சயமாக பாசாங்குக்காரன் அல்லது தவறான நடத்தையுடையவனை விட மேலானவன். (அத். II.64, 68; IV.21 ஐக் காண்க). ஐந்து ஞான இந்திரியங்கள்: கண்கள், காதுகள், மூக்கு, தோல் மற்றும் சுவை உணர்வு (நாக்கு).
If anyone performs actions with his organs of action (viz.? hands? feet? organ of speech? etc.) controlling the organs of knowledge by the mind? and without expectation of the fruits of the actions and without egoism? he is certainly more worthy than the other who is a hypocrite or a man of false conduct. (Cf.II.64?68IV.21).The five organs of knowledge are the eyes? the ears? the nose? the skin and the sense of taste (tongue).
