पिताहमस्य जगतो माता धाता पितामहः | वेद्यं पवित्रमोंकार ऋक्साम यजुरेव च
pitāhamasya jagato mātā dhātā pitāmahaḥ . vedyaṃ pavitramoṃkāra ṛksāma yajureva ca
ഈ ലോകത്തിൻ്റെ പിതാവും മാതാവും ധാതാവും പിതാമഹനും ഞാനാണ്. അറിയപ്പെടേണ്ടതും, പവിത്രമായ ഓംകാരവും, ഋഗ്വേദവും, സാമവേദവും, യജുർവേദവും ഞാനാണ്.
Of this world I am the father, mother, ordainer, (and the), grand-father; I am the knowable, the sancitifier, the syllable Om as also Rk, Sama and Yajus.
'ധാതാ' എന്നാൽ കർമ്മഫലങ്ങളെ നൽകി നിലനിർത്തുന്നവൻ. ഈശ്വരൻ അഥവാ സഗുണ ബ്രഹ്മം പിതാവാണ്. മൂലപ്രകൃതി അഥവാ ആദിമ പ്രകൃതി മാതാവാണ്. ശുദ്ധമായ സച്ചിദാനന്ദ പരബ്രഹ്മം പിതാമഹനാണ്. 'വേദ്യം' എന്നാൽ അറിയപ്പെടേണ്ട ഏക വസ്തു. ഇത് പരമമായ സത്തയാണ്. 'പവിത്രം' എന്നാൽ ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കുന്നവൻ. ഗംഗാ നദിയിലെ സ്നാനം, ഗായത്രീ ജപം എന്നിവയിലൂടെ സാധകരെ ബാഹ്യമായും ആന്തരികമായും ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കുന്ന രൂപത്തിൽ ഞാൻ നിലകൊള്ളുന്നു. 'ച' എന്നതിലൂടെ അഥർവവേദവും ഉൾപ്പെടുന്നു.
