अर्जुन उवाच | कथं भीष्ममहं सङ्ख्ये द्रोणं च मधुसूदन | इषुभिः प्रतियोत्स्यामि पूजार्हावरिसूदन
arjuna uvāca . kathaṃ bhīṣmamahaṃ saṅkhye droṇaṃ ca madhusūdana . iṣubhiḥ pratiyotsyāmi pūjārhāvarisūdana
അർജ്ജുനൻ പറഞ്ഞു: മധുസൂദനാ, അരിസൂദനാ, പൂജാർഹരായ ഭീഷ്മരെയും ദ്രോണരെയും ഞാൻ എങ്ങനെയാണ് യുദ്ധത്തിൽ അമ്പുകളാൽ എതിർത്ത് പോരാടുക?
Arjuna said O Madhusudana, O destroyer of enemies, how can I fight with arrows in battle against Bhisma and Drona who are worthy of adoration?
അർജ്ജുനൻ ഭഗവാൻ ശ്രീകൃഷ്ണനോട് തൻ്റെ സന്ദേഹം പ്രകടിപ്പിക്കുന്നു. തനിക്ക് പൂജ്യരായ ഗുരുക്കന്മാരോടും ബന്ധുക്കളോടും എങ്ങനെ യുദ്ധം ചെയ്യാനാകുമെന്ന് അവൻ ചോദിക്കുന്നു.
. Arjuna said How shall I with arrows fight in battle against Bhisma and Drona, both being worthy of reverence ? O slayer of Mandhu, O slayer of foes !
