உன் மனதை என்னில் நிலைநிறுத்தி, என் பக்தனாக இரு, எனக்காக யாகம் செய், என்னை வணங்கு. இவ்வாறு உன் ஆத்மாவை என்னுடன் இணைத்து, என்னையே பரம இலக்காகக் கொண்டு, நீ என்னையே அடைவாய்.

Having your mind fixed on Me, be devoted to Me, sacrifice to Me, and bow down to Me. By concentrating your mind and accepting Me as the supreme Goal, you shall surely attain Me who am thus the Self.

விளக்கம் — தமிழ்

உன் மனதை என்னால் நிரப்பு. உன் எண்ணங்கள், உணர்வுகள், செயல்கள் அனைத்தையும் என்னிலேயே நிலைநிறுத்து. உன் இதயம் என்னுடன் ஒன்றிப்போகட்டும். ஒரு உண்மையான பக்தனாக மாறு. நீ நித்திய ஆனந்தத்தைப் பெறுவாய். என்னை அறிந்தால், நீ மரணத்தையும் கடந்துவிடுவாய். மனிதனின் முழு இருப்பும் இறைவனிடம் நிபந்தனையற்ற சரணாகதி அடைய வேண்டும். அப்போது வாழ்க்கை முழுவதும் அற்புதமான மாற்றத்திற்கு உள்ளாகும். எல்லா இடங்களிலும் கடவுளின் தரிசனத்தைப் பெறுவாய். எல்லா துக்கங்களும் வேதனைகளும் மறைந்துவிடும். உன் மனம் தெய்வீக உணர்வுடன் ஒன்றிவிடும்.

விளக்கம் — English

Fill thy mind with Me. Fix your head? heart and hands on Me. Get your heart in tune with Me. Become a true worshipper. You will secure eternal bliss. Having known Me? you will cross beyond death.The whole being of man should be surrendered to the Lord without reservation. Then the whole life will undergo a wonderful transformation. You will have the vision of God everywhere. All sorrows and pains will vanish. Your mind will be one with the divine consciousness.Just as the potether becomes one with the universal ether when the limiting adjunct (pot) is broken? just as the Ganga and the Yamuna? leaving their names and forms become one with the ocean? so also the sage gets rid of Avidya and all sorts of limiting adjuncts through the direct realisation of the Self and becomes identical with Para Brahman.Yukta means steadied in thought? having thus fixed the mind on the Lord? knowing that I am the Self of all beings and the highest goal. (Cf.V.17VII.7?14XVIII.65)(This chapter is known by the name Adhyatma Yoga also.)Thus in the Upanishads of the glorious Bhagavad Gita? the science of the Eternal? the scripture of Yoga? the dialogue between Sri Krishna and Arjuna? ends the ninth discourse entitledThe Yoga of the Kingly Science and the Kingly Secret.,

9.1ஸ்ரீ பகவான் கூறினார்: குறை காணாத உனக்கு, இந்த மிக ரகசியமான ஞானத்தை, அனுபவத்துடன் கூடிய விஞ்ஞானத்துடன் சேர்த்து நான் உரைப்பேன். இதை அறிவதன் மூலம் நீ தீமைகளிலிருந்து விடுபடுவாய்.9.2இது ராஜவித்யா, ராஜகுஹ்யம், மிகச் சிறந்த புனிதமானது; நேரடியாக உணரக்கூடியது, தர்மத்திற்கு உகந்தது, செய்வதற்கு மிக எளிதானது, மற்றும் அழிவற்றது.9.3பகைவரை அழிப்பவனே! இந்த தர்மத்தில் (ஆத்ம ஞானத்தில்) சிரத்தை இல்லாத மனிதர்கள், என்னை அடையாமல், மரணம் நிறைந்த சம்சாரப் பாதையில் மீண்டும் மீண்டும் சுழல்கிறார்கள்.9.4என்னுடைய வெளிப்படாத வடிவத்தால் இந்த உலகம் முழுவதும் வியாபிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. எல்லா உயிரினங்களும் என்னிடத்தில் உள்ளன, ஆனால் நான் அவற்றுள் நிலைத்திருப்பதில்லை!9.5உயிரினங்கள் என்னிடத்தில் நிலைத்திருப்பதில்லை. என்னுடைய தெய்வீக யோக சக்தியைப் பார்! நான் உயிரினங்களை ஆதரிப்பவனாகவும், தோற்றுவிப்பவனாகவும் இருக்கிறேன், ஆனால் என்னுடைய ஆத்மா உயிரினங்களுக்குள் அடங்கியிருப்பதில்லை.9.6எல்லா இடங்களிலும் சஞ்சரிக்கும் மகத்தான காற்று ஆகாயத்தில் எப்போதும் நிலைத்திருப்பது போல, எல்லா உயிரினங்களும் என்னிடத்தில் நிலைத்திருக்கின்றன என்று அறிவாயாக.9.7குந்தியின் மகனே (அர்ஜுனா), அனைத்து உயிரினங்களும் ஒரு கல்பத்தின் முடிவில் என்னுடைய பிரகிருதியை அடைகின்றன. ஒரு கல்பத்தின் தொடக்கத்தில் நான் மீண்டும் அவற்றை வெளிப்படுத்துகிறேன்.9.8என்னுடைய பிரகிருதியை வசப்படுத்தி, இயற்கையின் ஆதிக்கத்தால் சக்தியற்ற இந்த முழு உயிரினக் கூட்டத்தையும் மீண்டும் மீண்டும் நான் வெளிப்படுத்துகிறேன்.9.9தனஞ்செயனே (அர்ஜுனா), அந்தச் செயல்களில் பற்றற்று, ஒரு பற்றற்றவனைப் போல நான் இருப்பதால், அந்த கர்மங்கள் என்னை கட்டுப்படுத்துவதில்லை.9.10என்னுடைய மேற்பார்வையின் கீழ், பிரகிருதி அசையும் மற்றும் அசையாத பொருள்களின் உலகத்தைப் படைக்கிறது. இந்த காரணத்தினாலேயே, குந்தியின் மகனே, உலகம் சுழல்கிறது.
