यदृच्छया चोपपन्नं स्वर्गद्वारमपावृतम् | सुखिनः क्षत्रियाः पार्थ लभन्ते युद्धमीदृशम्
yadṛcchayā copapannaṃ svargadvāramapāvṛtam . sukhinaḥ kṣatriyāḥ pārtha labhante yuddhamīdṛśam
ಓ ಪಾರ್ಥ, ತಾನಾಗಿಯೇ ಒದಗಿಬಂದ, ಸ್ವರ್ಗಕ್ಕೆ ತೆರೆದ ದ್ವಾರವಾಗಿರುವ ಇಂತಹ ಯುದ್ಧವನ್ನು ಎದುರಿಸುವ ಕ್ಷತ್ರಿಯರು ಸುಖಿಗಳು.
O son of Partha, happy are the Ksatriyas who come across this kind of a battle, which presents itself unsought for and which is an open gate to heaven.
ಧರ್ಮಗ್ರಂಥಗಳು ಹೇಳುವಂತೆ, ಒಬ್ಬ ಕ್ಷತ್ರಿಯನು ಯುದ್ಧಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಧರ್ಮಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಮರಣ ಹೊಂದಿದರೆ, ಅವನು ತಕ್ಷಣವೇ ಸ್ವರ್ಗವನ್ನು ಸೇರುತ್ತಾನೆ.
