वासांसि जीर्णानि यथा विहाय नवानि गृह्णाति नरोऽपराणि | तथा शरीराणि विहाय जीर्णा- न्यन्यानि संयाति नवानि देही
vāsāṃsi jīrṇāni yathā vihāya navāni gṛhṇāti naro.aparāṇi . tathā śarīrāṇi vihāya jīrṇāni anyāni saṃyāti navāni dehī
ಹೇಗೆ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಹಳೆಯ ಬಟ್ಟೆಗಳನ್ನು ತ್ಯಜಿಸಿ ಹೊಸ ಬಟ್ಟೆಗಳನ್ನು ಧರಿಸುತ್ತಾನೋ, ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ದೇಹಧಾರಿಯು ಹಳೆಯ ದೇಹಗಳನ್ನು ತ್ಯಜಿಸಿ ಇತರ ಹೊಸ ದೇಹಗಳನ್ನು ಸೇರುತ್ತಾನೆ.
As after rejecting wornout clothes a man takes up other new ones, likewise after rejecting wornout bodies the embodied one unites with other new ones.
ಹೇಗೆ ಹರಿದ ಬಟ್ಟೆಗಳನ್ನು ತ್ಯಜಿಸಿ, ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಇತರ ಹೊಸ ಬಟ್ಟೆಗಳನ್ನು ಧರಿಸುತ್ತಾನೋ, ಅದೇ ರೀತಿ, ಹಾಳಾದ ದೇಹಗಳನ್ನು ತ್ಯಜಿಸಿ, ದೇಹಧಾರಿಯು (ಆತ್ಮ) ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ಇತರ ಹೊಸ ದೇಹಗಳನ್ನು ಸೇರುತ್ತಾನೆ.
. Just as rejecting the tattered garments, a man takes other new ones, in the same way, rejecting the decayed bodies, the embodied (Self) rightly proceeds to other new ones.
