「他們已被我所殺。」因此，喔，阿周那，你無需害怕因殺戮他們而招致罪業。德羅那（Drona）擁有天界武器，他是阿周那的弓術老師，也是阿周那摯愛且最偉大的上師。毗濕摩（Bhishma）也擁有天界武器，他只有在自己願意時才會死去。他曾單獨與帕茹蘇茹阿瑪（Parasurama）勳主戰鬥，並未被擊敗，可見其力量之強大。遮耶德羅陀（Jayadratha）的父親曾立誓苦修，願任何使他兒子頭顱落地的人，其頭顱也將隨之落地。然而在戰爭中，阿周那的箭射斷了遮耶德羅陀的頭顱，並使其落到他父親的膝上，他父親不經意間讓頭顱落地，自己也立刻死去。迦爾納（Karna），太陽神之子，曾從因陀羅（Indra）那裡獲得一枚百發百中的導彈。
