कविं पुराणमनुशासितार- मणोरणीयंसमनुस्मरेद्यः | सर्वस्य धातारमचिन्त्यरूप- मादित्यवर्णं तमसः परस्तात्
kaviṃ purāṇamanuśāsitāraṃ aṇoraṇīyaṃsamanusmaredyaḥ . sarvasya dhātāramacintyarūpaṃ ādityavarṇaṃ tamasaḥ parastāt
ఎవడు సర్వజ్ఞుడైన, అనాదియైన, సర్వమునకు శాసకుడైన, అణువుకంటే సూక్ష్మమైన, సర్వమునకు ఆధారమైన, అచింత్యరూపుడైన, సూర్యునివలె ప్రకాశించుచున్న, అజ్ఞానాంధకారమునకు అతీతుడైన పరమ పురుషుని స్మరించునో (వాడు ఆయనను పొందును).
He who meditates on the Omniscient, the Anceint, the Ruler, subtler than the subtle, the Ordainer of everything, of inconceivable form, effulgent like the sun, and beyond darkness-(he attains the supreme Person).
ఈ శ్లోకం పరమ పురుషుని దివ్య లక్షణాలను వివరిస్తుంది. ఆయన సర్వజ్ఞుడు, పురాతనుడు, సకల సృష్టికి శాసకుడు, సూక్ష్మాతి సూక్ష్ముడు, సర్వమునకు ఆధారభూతుడు, ఊహించరాని రూపం కలవాడు, సూర్యునివలె తేజోమయుడు, అజ్ఞానాంధకారమునకు అతీతుడు అని వర్ణిస్తుంది. ఈ లక్షణాలతో కూడిన భగవంతుని ధ్యానించడం ద్వారా మోక్షం లభిస్తుందని సూచిస్తుంది.
Kavim The sage? seer or poet? the omniscient.The Lord dispenses the fruits of actions of the Jivas (individual souls). He is the Ruler of the world. It is very difficult to conceive the form of the Lord. He is selfluminous and He illumies everything like the sun.
