नष्टो मोहः स्मृतिर्लब्धा त्वत्प्रसादान्मयाच्युत | स्थितोऽस्मि गतसन्देहः करिष्ये वचनं तव ||७३||
naṣhṭo mohaḥ smṛitir labdhā tvat-prasādān mayāchyuta sthito 'smi gata-sandehaḥ kariṣhye vachanaṁ tava
അർജ്ജുനൻ പറഞ്ഞു: അച്യുതാ, അങ്ങയുടെ പ്രസാദത്താൽ എൻ്റെ മോഹം നശിച്ചു, എനിക്ക് സ്മൃതി തിരികെ ലഭിച്ചു. ഞാൻ സംശയരഹിതനായി ഉറച്ചുനിൽക്കുന്നു. അങ്ങയുടെ വചനം ഞാൻ അനുസരിക്കും.
Arjuna said: My delusion is destroyed and I have regained my memory by Your grace, O Achyuta. I am firm, free from doubt. I shall act according to Your word.
ഗീതയുടെ ഉപദേശം ഇവിടെ പൂർണ്ണമാകുന്നു. ഒന്നാം അധ്യായത്തിൽ ദുഃഖവും ആശയക്കുഴപ്പവും കാരണം വില്ല് താഴെയിട്ട അർജ്ജുനൻ ഇപ്പോൾ ഉറച്ചുനിൽക്കുന്നു. 'നഷ്ടോ മോഹഃ' (മോഹം നശിച്ചു) എന്ന വാക്കുകൾ അർജ്ജുനൻ്റെ ആദ്യത്തെ പ്രതിസന്ധിക്ക് നേരിട്ടുള്ള ഉത്തരമാണ്. 'കരിഷ്യേ വചനം തവ' (അങ്ങയുടെ വചനം ഞാൻ അനുസരിക്കും) എന്നത് അന്ധമായ അനുസരണമല്ല, മറിച്ച് 18 അധ്യായങ്ങളിലെ ചോദ്യങ്ങൾക്കും യുക്തിക്കും ധാരണയ്ക്കും ശേഷമുള്ള തീരുമാനമാണ്.
The Gita comes full circle. Arjuna, who dropped his bow in Chapter 1 overwhelmed by grief and confusion, now stands firm. "Naṣhṭo mohaḥ" (delusion destroyed) directly answers the original crisis. "Kariṣhye vachanaṁ tava" (I shall do as You say) is not blind obedience — it follows 18 chapters of questioning, reasoning, and understanding.
