सर्वयोनिषु कौन्तेय मूर्तयः सम्भवन्ति याः | तासां ब्रह्म महद्योनिरहं बीजप्रदः पिता
sarvayoniṣu kaunteya mūrtayaḥ sambhavanti yāḥ . tāsāṃ brahma mahadyonirahaṃ bījapradaḥ pitā
കൗന്തേയാ, എല്ലാ യോനികളിലും (ഉറവിടങ്ങളിലും) ഏതൊക്കെ രൂപങ്ങൾ ഉണ്ടാകുന്നുവോ, അവയുടെയെല്ലാം മഹത്തായ യോനി ബ്രഹ്മമാണ് (പ്രകൃതി); ബീജം നൽകുന്ന പിതാവ് ഞാനാണ്.
O son of Kunti, whatever forms are born from all the wombs, of them the great-sustainer is the womb; I am the father who deposits the seed.
ഞാനാണ് പിതാവ്, മൂലപ്രകൃതിയാണ് മാതാവ്. പ്രകൃതി എന്നോടുള്ള ബന്ധത്തിലൂടെ ഉത്പാദിപ്പിച്ച കുഞ്ഞാണ് ഈ പ്രകടമായ ലോകം മുഴുവൻ. അതുകൊണ്ട് ഞാൻ ഈ ലോകത്തിന്റെ പിതാവ് എന്ന് വിളിക്കപ്പെടുന്നു. യോനികൾ എന്നത് ദേവന്മാർ, മനുഷ്യർ, മൃഗങ്ങൾ, പക്ഷികൾ തുടങ്ങിയ വിവിധ ഉറവിടങ്ങളെ സൂചിപ്പിക്കുന്നു. മൂർത്തികൾ എന്നത് ഭാഗങ്ങളും അവയവങ്ങളുമുള്ള ശരീരങ്ങളെയാണ് സൂചിപ്പിക്കുന്നത്.
