सञ्जय उवाच | दृष्ट्वा तु पाण्डवानीकं व्यूढं दुर्योधनस्तदा | आचार्यमुपसंगम्य राजा वचनमब्रवीत् ||२||

സഞ്ജയൻ പറഞ്ഞു: അണിനിരത്തിയിരിക്കുന്ന പാണ്ഡവ സൈന്യത്തെ കണ്ടപ്പോൾ, രാജാവായ ദുര്യോധനൻ തന്റെ ആചാര്യനായ ദ്രോണരുടെ അടുത്തേക്ക് ചെന്ന് ഈ വാക്കുകൾ പറഞ്ഞു.
Sanjaya said: Seeing the army of the Pandavas arranged in military formation, King Duryodhana approached his teacher Dronacharya and spoke these words.
