अर्जुन उवाच | पश्यामि देवांस्तव देव देहे सर्वांस्तथा भूतविशेषसङ्घान् | ब्रह्माणमीशं कमलासनस्थ- मृषींश्च सर्वानुरगांश्च दिव्यान्
arjuna uvāca . paśyāmi devāṃstava deva dehe sarvāṃstathā bhūtaviśeṣasaṅghān . brahmāṇamīśaṃ kamalāsanasthaṃ ṛṣīṃśca sarvānuragāṃśca divyān
ಅರ್ಜುನನು ಹೇಳಿದನು: ಓ ದೇವ, ನಿನ್ನ ದೇಹದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ದೇವರುಗಳನ್ನು, ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ವಿವಿಧ ವರ್ಗಗಳ ಜೀವಿಗಳ ಸಮೂಹಗಳನ್ನು ನಾನು ನೋಡುತ್ತೇನೆ; ಕಮಲಾಸನದಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಳಿತಿರುವ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮನನ್ನು, ಈಶನನ್ನು, ಮತ್ತು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ದಿವ್ಯ ಋಷಿಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಗೂ ಸರ್ಪಗಳನ್ನು ನೋಡುತ್ತೇನೆ.
Arjuna said O God, I see in Your body all the gods as also hosts of (various) classes of beings; Brahma the ruler, sitting on a lotus seat, and all the heavely sages and serpents.
ಅರ್ಜುನನು ಈ ಮತ್ತು ಮುಂದಿನ ಶ್ಲೋಕಗಳಲ್ಲಿ (೧೫ ರಿಂದ ೩೧) ವಿಶ್ವ ರೂಪದ ತನ್ನ ಸ್ವಂತ ಅನುಭವವನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಭೂತವಿಶೇಷಸಂಘಾನ್ (Bhutaviseshasanghan) - ವಿವಿಧ ವರ್ಗಗಳ ಜೀವಿಗಳ ಸಮೂಹಗಳು, ಚೇತನ ಮತ್ತು ಅಚೇತನ ಎರಡೂ. ಈ ಅಸಂಖ್ಯಾತ ಘಟಕಗಳು ನಿನ್ನ ವಿಶ್ವ ರೂಪದಲ್ಲಿವೆ, ಮಾನವ ದೇಹದ ಮೇಲಿನ ಕೂದಲುಗಳಂತೆ. ಬ್ರಹ್ಮ, ಚತುರ್ಮುಖ, ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜೀವಿಗಳ ಅಧಿಪತಿ, ಭೂ-ಕಮಲದ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ, ಮೇರು ಪರ್ವತದ ಮೇಲೆ ಕುಳಿತಿದ್ದಾನೆ, ಅದು ಭೂ-ಕಮಲದ ತಳಹದಿಯಂತೆ. ವಸಿಷ್ಠರಂತಹ ಋಷಿಗಳು. ವಾಸುಕಿಯಂತಹ ಸರ್ಪಗಳು. ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ --
