अनन्याश्चिन्तयन्तो मां ये जनाः पर्युपासते | तेषां नित्याभियुक्तानां योगक्षेमं वहाम्यहम् ||२२||
ananyāśh chintayanto māṁ ye janāḥ paryupāsate teṣhāṁ nityābhiyuktānāṁ yoga-kṣhemaṁ vahāmy aham
ఏ జనులు అనన్యచిత్తులై నన్ను చింతించుచు, పర్యుపాసింతురో, అట్టి నిత్యయుక్తులైన వారికి యోగక్షేమములను నేనే వహించుదును.
For those who worship Me with exclusive devotion, meditating on My transcendental form, I carry what they lack and preserve what they have.
ఈ శ్లోకం భక్తి సంప్రదాయానికి మూలస్తంభం. అనన్య భక్తితో, ఏకాగ్ర చిత్తంతో నన్ను ధ్యానిస్తూ ఆరాధించే భక్తుల యోగక్షేమాలను (లేనివి సమకూర్చడం, ఉన్నవి కాపాడటం) స్వయంగా తానే చూసుకుంటానని శ్రీకృష్ణుడు హామీ ఇస్తున్నాడు.
Krishna makes a personal guarantee: "vahāmy aham" — I personally carry. Not "I arrange" or "I bless" but "I carry" — like a parent carrying provisions for a child. The condition is "ananyāḥ" (undivided devotion). This verse is the foundation of the bhakti tradition.
