नासतो विद्यते भावो नाभावो विद्यते सतः | उभयोरपि दृष्टोऽन्तस्त्वनयोस्तत्त्वदर्शिभिः
nāsato vidyate bhāvo nābhāvo vidyate sataḥ . ubhayorapi dṛṣṭo.antastvanayostattvadarśibhiḥ
Des Unwirklichen gibt es kein Sein; dem Wirklichen gibt es kein Nichtsein. Doch die wahre Natur dieser beiden ist wahrlich von den Sehern der Wahrheit erkannt worden.
Of the unreal there is no being; the real has no nonexistence. But the nature of both these, indeed, has been realized by the seers of Truth.
Das unveränderliche, homogene Atman oder Selbst existiert immer. Es ist die einzige feste Realität. Diese phänomenale Welt der Namen und Formen ist ständig im Wandel. Daher ist sie unwirklich. Der Weise oder Jivanmukta ist sich vollkommen bewusst, dass das Selbst immer existiert und dass diese Welt wie eine Fata Morgana ist. Durch sein Jnanachakshus, das Auge der Intuition, erkennt er das Selbst direkt. Diese Welt verschwindet für ihn wie die Schlange im Seil, nachdem erkannt wurde, dass nur das Seil existiert. Er verwirft die Namen und Formen und erfasst die zugrunde liegende Essenz in allen Namen und Formen, nämlich AstiBhatiPriya oder Satchidananda, das absolute Sein-Wissen-Glückseligkeit. Daher ist er ein Tattvadarshi oder ein Kenner der Wahrheit oder der Essenz. Was sich ändert, muss unwirklich sein. Was konstant oder permanent ist, muss wirklich sein.
-- The changeless? homogeneous Atman or the Self always exists. It is the only solid Reality. This phenomenal world of names and forms is ever changing. Hence it is unreal. The sage or the Jivanmukta is fully aware that the Self always exists and that this world is like a mirage. Through his Jnanachakshus or the eye of intuition? he directly cognises the Self. This world vanishes for him like the snake in the rope? after it has been seen that only the rope exists. He rejects the names and forms and takes the underlying Essence in all the names and forms? viz.? AstiBhatiPriya or Satchidananda or ExistenceKnowledgeBliss Absolute. Hence he is a Tattvadarshi or a knower of the Truth or the Essence.What is changing must be unreal. What is constant or permanent must be real.
