विहाय कामान्यः सर्वान्पुमांश्चरति निःस्पृहः | निर्ममो निरहङ्कारः स शान्तिमधिगच्छति
vihāya kāmānyaḥ sarvānpumāṃścarati niḥspṛhaḥ . nirmamo nirahaṅkāraḥ sa śāntimadhigacchati
ఏ పురుషుడు అన్ని కోరికలను విడిచిపెట్టి, నిస్స్పృహతో సంచరిస్తాడో, మమకారం, అహంకారం లేనివాడై, అతడు శాంతిని పొందుతాడు.
That man attains peace who, after rejecting all desires, moves about free from hankering, without the idea of ('me' and) 'mine', and devoid of pride.
కోరికలు లేనివాడై, అన్ని కోరికలను త్యజించి, 'నేను' మరియు 'నాది' అనే భావనలు లేకుండా జీవించేవాడు, జీవితానికి అవసరమైన కనీస అవసరాలతో సంతృప్తి చెందేవాడు, ఆ కనీస అవసరాల పట్ల కూడా ఎటువంటి ఆసక్తి లేనివాడు, వాటి పట్ల కూడా ఎటువంటి అనుబంధం లేనివాడు మోక్షాన్ని లేదా శాశ్వత శాంతిని పొందుతాడు.
That man who lives destitute of longing? abandoning all desires? without the senses of I and mine? who is satisfied with the bare necessities of life? who does not care even for those bare necessities of life? who has no attachment even for the bare necessities of life? attains Moksha or eternal peace.
