श्रीभगवानुवाच | प्रजहाति यदा कामान्सर्वान्पार्थ मनोगतान् | आत्मन्येवात्मना तुष्टः स्थितप्रज्ञस्तदोच्यते
śrībhagavānuvāca . prajahāti yadā kāmānsarvānpārtha manogatān . ātmanyevātmanā tuṣṭaḥ sthitaprajñastadocyate
Шри Бхагаван сказал: О Партха, когда человек полностью отказывается от всех желаний, что проникли в ум, и удовлетворён в Атмане лишь Атманом, тогда он зовётся стхитапраджней (человеком с устойчивой мудростью).
The Blessed said O Partha, when one fully renounces all the desires that have entered the mind, and remains satisfied in the Self alone by the Self, then he is called a man of steady wisdom.
В этом стихе Господь Кришна даёт ответ на первую часть вопроса Арджуны. Если кто-либо получает сахарную конфету, будет ли он жаждать чёрного сахара? Конечно, нет. Если кто-либо может достичь высшего блаженства Атмана, будет ли он жаждать чувственных удовольствий? Нет, ни в коем случае. Вся сумма мирских удовольствий покажется ничтожной для мудреца с устойчивой мудростью, который удовлетворён в Атмане.
In this verse Lord Krishna gives His answer to the first part of Arjunas estion.If anyone gets sugarcandy will he crave for blacksugar Certainly not. If anyone can attain the supreme bliss of the Self? will he thirst for the sensual pleasures No? not at all. The sumtotal of all the pleasures of the world will seem worthless for the sage of steady wisdom who is satisfied in the Self. (Cf.III.17VI.7?8).
