न त्वेवाहं जातु नासं न त्वं नेमे जनाधिपाः | न चैव न भविष्यामः सर्वे वयमतः परम्
na tvevāhaṃ jātu nāsaṃ na tvaṃ neme janādhipāḥ . na caiva na bhaviṣyāmaḥ sarve vayamataḥ param
Но поистине не было такого времени, когда бы Я не существовал, ни ты, ни эти правители людей. И поистине не будет такого, чтобы все мы перестали существовать после этого.
But certainly (it is) not (a fact) that I did not exist at any time; nor you, nor these rulers of men. And surely it is not that we all shall cease to exist after this.
Здесь Господь Кришна говорит о бессмертии души (Атмана) и ее нетленной природе. Душа существует во все три периода времени: в прошлом, настоящем и будущем. Человек продолжает существовать даже после смерти физического тела; жизнь продолжается за его пределами.
-- Lord Krishna speaks here of the immortality of the Soul or the imperishable nature of the Self (Atman). The Soul exists in the three periods of time (past? present and future). Man continues to exist even after the death of the physical body. There is life beyond.
