अव्यक्तोऽक्षर इत्युक्तस्तमाहुः परमां गतिम् | यं प्राप्य न निवर्तन्ते तद्धाम परमं मम
avyakto.akṣara ityuktastamāhuḥ paramāṃ gatim . yaṃ prāpya na nivartante taddhāma paramaṃ mama
Der als das Unmanifestierte, das Unwandelbare bezeichnet wird, den nennen sie das höchste Ziel. Das ist Meine höchste Wohnstätte, von der man, wenn man sie erreicht hat, nicht zurückkehrt.
He who has been mentioned as the Unmanifested, the Immutable, they call Him the supreme Goal. That is the supreme abode of Mine, reaching which they do not return.
Para Brahman wird als das Unmanifestierte bezeichnet, weil es von den Sinnen nicht wahrgenommen werden kann. Es wird auch das Unvergängliche genannt. Es ist allgegenwärtig, alles durchdringend und miteinander verbunden. Para Brahman ist das höchste Ziel. Es gibt nichts Höheres als Es. Dies ist der wahre, nicht-duale Zustand, frei von jeglichen einschränkenden Beiwerten. Das Erreichen von Brahmaloka (der Region des Schöpfers) usw. ist dem untergeordnet. Nur durch die Verwirklichung des Selbst wird man vom Samsara befreit. (Vgl. XII.3, XV.6)
Para Brahman is called the Unmanifested because It cannot be perceived by the senses. It is called the Imperishable also. It is allpervading? allpermeating and interpenetrating. Para Brahman is the highest Goal. There is nothing higher than It. This is the true nondual state free from all sorts of limiting adjuncts. The attainment of Brahmaloka (the region of the Creator) etc.? is inferior to this. Only by realising the Self is one liberated from Samsara. (Cf.XII.3?XV.6)
