वेदानां सामवेदोऽस्मि देवानामस्मि वासवः | इन्द्रियाणां मनश्चास्मि भूतानामस्मि चेतना
vedānāṃ sāmavedo.asmi devānāmasmi vāsavaḥ . indriyāṇāṃ manaścāsmi bhūtānāmasmi cetanā
Unter den Veden bin Ich der Sāma-Veda; unter den Göttern bin Ich Indra. Unter den Sinnen bin Ich der Geist, und in den Geschöpfen bin Ich die Intelligenz (Chetanā).
Among the Vedas I am Sama-veda; among the gods I am Indra. Among the organs I am the mind, and I am the intelligence in creatures.
