पुण्यो गन्धः पृथिव्यां च तेजश्चास्मि विभावसौ | जीवनं सर्वभूतेषु तपश्चास्मि तपस्विषु
puṇyo gandhaḥ pṛthivyāṃ ca tejaścāsmi vibhāvasau . jīvanaṃ sarvabhūteṣu tapaścāsmi tapasviṣu
Je suis aussi le parfum pur dans la terre, et l'éclat dans le feu ; la vie en tous les êtres, et l'austérité chez les ascètes.
I am also the sweet fragrance in the earth; I am the brillinace in the fire, and the life in all beings; and I am the austerity of the ascetics.
Poursuivant la description de Ses manifestations, le Seigneur se révèle comme la qualité essentielle et la force vitale de l'existence. Il est la pureté du parfum terrestre, la puissance du feu, le principe de vie qui anime toutes les créatures, et la discipline (tapas) qui caractérise les ascètes.
