श्रीभगवानुवाच | इमं विवस्वते योगं प्रोक्तवानहमव्ययम् | विवस्वान्मनवे प्राह मनुरिक्ष्वाकवेऽब्रवीत्
śrībhagavānuvāca . imaṃ vivasvate yogaṃ proktavānahamavyayam . vivasvānmanave prāha manurikṣvākave.abravīt
至福の主が言われた。「私はこの不朽のヨーガをヴィヴァスヴァーンに授けた。ヴィヴァスヴァーンはこれをマヌに教え、マヌはイクシュヴァークに伝えた。」
The Blessed Lord said I imparted this imperishable Yoga to Vivasvan, Vivasvan taught this to Manu, and Manu transmitted this to Iksavaku.
ヴィヴァスヴァーンは太陽神を意味します。イクシュヴァークはマヌの息子であり、クシャトリヤの太陽王朝の祖先とされています。このヨーガは、それによって達成される結果、すなわちモークシャ（解脱）が不朽であるため、「不朽」であると言われます。もし支配者たちが、私がこれまでの二つの章で教えたヨーガの知識を持っていれば、彼らはバラモンを保護し、公正に王国を統治できるでしょう。そのため、私は進化の初期にこのヨーガを太陽神に教えました。
Vivasvan means the sun. Ikshvaku was the son of Manu. Ikshvaku was the reputed ancestor of the solar dynasty of Kshatriyas.This Yoga is said to be imperishable because the result or fruit? i.e.? Moksha? that can be attained through it is imperishable.If the rulers of dominions possess a knowledge of the Yoga taught by Me in the preceding two discourses? they can protect the Brahmanas and rule their kingdom with justice. So I taught this Yoga to the Sungod in the beginning of evolution.
