इन्द्रियाणि मनो बुद्धिरस्याधिष्ठानमुच्यते | एतैर्विमोहयत्येष ज्ञानमावृत्य देहिनम्
indriyāṇi mano buddhirasyādhiṣṭhānamucyate . etairvimohayatyeṣa jñānamāvṛtya dehinam
感覚器官、マナス（心）、そしてブッディ（知性）は、その（欲望の）住処であると言われる。これ（欲望）は、これら（感覚器官、心、知性）の助けを借りて知識を覆い隠し、肉体を持つ存在を様々に惑わす。
The organs, mind, and the intellect are said to be its abode. This one diversely deludes the embodied being by veiling Knowledge with the help of these.
敵の住処が分かれば、それを倒すのは非常に容易である。したがって、クリシュナ卿は賢明な将軍のように、アルジュナに欲望の住処を指摘し、彼がそれを容易に攻撃し、打ち破ることができるようにしている。
If the abode of the enemy is known it is ite easy to kill him. So Lord Krishna like a wise army general points out to Arjuna the abode of desire so that he may be able to attack it and kill it ite readily.
