बाह्यस्पर्शेष्वसक्तात्मा विन्दत्यात्मनि यत्सुखम् | स ब्रह्मयोगयुक्तात्मा सुखमक्षयमश्नुते
bāhyasparśeṣvasaktātmā vindatyātmani yatsukham . sa brahmayogayuktātmā sukhamakṣayamaśnute
With his heart unattached to external objects, he gets the bliss that is in 自己. With his heart absorbed in 瞑想 on Brahman, he acires undecaying Bliss.
With his heart unattached to external objects, he gets the bliss that is in the Self. With his heart absorbed in meditation on Brahman, he acires undecaying Bliss.
When 心 is not attached to external objects of 感覚? when one is deeply engaged in the contemplation of Brahman? he finds undecaying bliss in 自己 within. If you want to enjoy the imperishable 幸福 of 自己 within? you will have to withdraw 感覚 from their respective objects and plunge yourself in deep 瞑想 on 自己 within. This is the gist of this verse.
